AUTHENTICATE

To verify that a Service Dog is registered with seizure-alert-dogs.org and has been professionally  trained, enter the microchip number in the box at the top of this page, or email the microchip number of the dog to:

authenticate@seizure-alert-dogs.org

Seizure Alert Service Dogs have internationally readable microchip implants that enable the identification of the dog and their partner.

The microchip number may be entered at the top of the Authenticate page, and will return the details of the dog, and the name of the human partner. Alternatively, to verify the authenticity of the dog and their partner, you may send an email to authenticate@seizure-alert-dogs.org . You will need to provide the microchip number of the dog that appears on the documentation we have issued to the handler. We will reply with details verifying the authenticity of the microchip number, and further details that correspond to the written documentation provided to you by the dog’s handler.

Their partner will carry Seizure Alert documentation enabling identification of the dog, as well as the dog’s microchip number.
The handler will also carry medical documentation relating to their disability.

All medical information that is shown to you by a person who has an assistance dog is highly confidential. By emailing Seizure-Alert-Dogs for authentication, you will receive confirmation of documentation that has been shown to you. Seizure-Alert-Dogs will not in any way compromise the privacy of the individual.
Seizure-Alert-Dogs seek to minimise any possible cause for embarrassment or social discomfort that may be encountered.

If somebody has qualified to be partnered with a trained Service Dog they will have already shown clear evidence of their disability by means of medical assessments and reports to Seizure-Alert-Dogs specialists. Not all disabilities are patently visible.
