All Assistance Dogs receive special attention with regard to their healthcare, and are tested on a regular basis to ensure that they do not present any risks.

Assistance Dogs are regularly vaccinated, de-wormed and given flea-prevention products  in accordance with best practice, using veterinary approved products. Assistance Dogs also receive regular health assessments by veterinarians.
